(2021 – present)

  • Spearheaded the conception and execution of a comprehensive lead generation engine, overseeing the creation and optimization of lead scoring models, lifecycle and funnel acceleration strategies, and lead nurture programs. Resulted in an unprecedented 250% increase in marketing qualified leads within just one year of initiation.
  • Led the execution of a strategic, nationwide go-to-market campaign for a high-impact product release, navigating multiple quarters with precision messaging and advanced targeting strategies. Achieved standout metrics: 400+ webinar registrations, a 15% email click-to-open rate, 31K+ website visits, and an unparalleled 2M+ LinkedIn ad impressions, showcasing a keen understanding of market dynamics.
  • Championed the strategic planning and seamless execution of a hyper-targeted campaign to promote the 2023 Post-Graduation Readiness Report. Oversaw all facets, including developing the campaign landing page, crafting advertising copy, guiding graphic direction, and orchestrating HTML email design. The campaign yielded a commanding 280K+ impressions, an exceptional 25% ad click-to-conversion rate, facilitated 100+ downloads, and seamlessly incorporated nearly 100 new contacts into the CRM.

Director of Marketing, Magic Ears Inc.
(2019 – 2021)

  • Helped lay the foundation for marketing and teacher recruitment efforts in the company’s first U.S. office, including building strategic partnerships with industry influencers, leading the company’s first charity campaign, and enhancing content strategy efforts on Instagram and LinkedIn. 
  • Expanded on the company’s teacher-facing brand through a variety of avenues including, but not limited to, launching and maintaining an online store with all new merchandise designs, developing a cohesive teacher handbook, and helping the teacher management team in China navigate cross-cultural and communication barriers. 
  • Supported the development, launch, and maintenance of the online teacher training school, Magic Ears University (MEU), including leading the migration to a new Learning Management System in Jan ‘21; and spearheaded the marketing and sales efforts for MEU programs. 

Magic Ears is a China-based online ESL learning platform providing interactive English instruction to young learners through virtual classrooms and live teaching experiences.

Marketing Communications Manager, Adventure Science Center
(2014 – 2019)

  • Single-handedly navigated a lapse in leadership in early 2016 without missing any advertising, communications, or design deadlines; and, in Summer 2018, was named Interim Director of Marketing & Communications during a second lapse in leadership that occurred amidst a fiscal year change, making final budgetary decisions as approved by executive leadership. 
  • Successfully helped plan, manage and execute a multi-faceted total solar eclipse campaign that brought the organization unprecedented media attention, amounting to over $7 million in advertising equivalency. Efforts included media appearances and partnerships, community awareness campaigns, mass communications, and educational resources, to name a few. 
  • Guided the organization’s shift towards content- and value-based marketing tactics for both social media and the website, handling every element of the campaigns from planning to execution until the Marketing team expanded, including serving as the sole website manager and providing graphic design support. 

Adventure Science Center is a hands-on children’s science museum in Nashville, Tenn., dedicated to sparking curiosity and lifelong learning through interactive STEM exhibits and educational programming.

Communications Assistant, Oak Ridge Associated Universities
(2012 – 2015)

  • Implemented a number of new internal and external communications, including a bi-weekly newsletter aimed at improving internal communications laterally, and a quarterly NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) newsletter to showcase participants’ research. 
  • Participated in a variety of projects including, but not limited to, designing publications for internal and external audiences, publishing research opportunities, copy-editing publications, and maintaining the NPP Facebook and Twitter accounts. 

ORAU is a nonprofit research and education consortium supporting scientific discovery, workforce development, and federal agency partnerships through training, research programs, and collaborative initiatives.
