(2019 – present)
- Helped lay the foundation for marketing and teacher recruitment efforts in the company’s first U.S. office, including building strategic partnerships with industry influencers, leading the company’s first charity campaign, and enhancing content strategy efforts on Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Expanded on the company’s teacher-facing brand through a variety of avenues including, but not limited to, launching and maintaining an online store with all new merchandise designs, developing a cohesive teacher handbook, and helping the teacher management team in China navigate cross-cultural and communication barriers.
- Supported the development, launch, and maintenance of the online teacher training school, Magic Ears University (MEU), including leading the migration to a new Learning Management System in Jan ‘21; and spearheaded the marketing and sales efforts for MEU programs.

Marketing Communications Manager, Adventure Science Center
(2014 – 2019)
- Single-handedly navigated a lapse in leadership in early 2016 without missing any advertising, communications, or design deadlines; and, in Summer 2018, was named Interim Director of Marketing & Communications during a second lapse in leadership that occurred amidst a fiscal year change, making final budgetary decisions as approved by executive leadership.
- Successfully helped plan, manage and execute a multi-faceted total solar eclipse campaign that brought the organization unprecedented media attention, amounting to over $7 million in advertising equivalency. Efforts included media appearances and partnerships, community awareness campaigns, mass communications, and educational resources, to name a few.
- Guided the organization’s shift towards content- and value-based marketing tactics for both social media and the website, handling every element of the campaigns from planning to execution until the Marketing team expanded, including serving as the sole website manager and providing graphic design support.

- Implemented a number of new internal and external communications, including a bi-weekly newsletter aimed at improving internal communications laterally, and a quarterly NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) newsletter to showcase participants’ research.
- Participated in a variety of projects including, but not limited to, designing publications for internal and external audiences, publishing research opportunities, copy-editing publications, and maintaining the NPP Facebook and Twitter accounts.
